Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Professional to join our team at the Lower Elwha Klallam Tribe. As a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will provide comprehensive healthcare services to patients in a primary care outpatient clinic environment.

About the Job

Estimated Salary:$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient-centered care to individuals of all ages, including triage, evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of acute and chronic injuries and illnesses.
  • Collaborate with staff physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care and effective communication.
  • Order and interpret lab and x-ray data, as well as initiate referrals to specialists when necessary.
  • Document all patient encounters accurately and efficiently using electronic health records.
  • Participate in quality improvement activities, policy development, and committee work to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Current PA-C or ARNP licensure in Washington State.
  • Current ACLS and BLS certification, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and competence in family medicine/primary care, minor orthopedics, and minor surgical procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information discreetly.
Working Conditions
  • Work is performed in a fast-paced primary care outpatient clinic environment, with frequent interaction with staff and patients.
  • Possible flexibility in shift scheduling, including evenings and weekends.
