Job Summary

M.C. Dean is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our business operations team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our project managers and ensuring the smooth execution of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Support: Provide administrative support to project managers, including preparing project documents, tracking project progress, and coordinating with team members.
  • Contract Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of contracts, including contract repositories and tracking change orders.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with contract requirements and company policies, and perform other duties as assigned.
  • Issue Resolution: Serve as the focal point for issue resolution, including commercial and federal compliance, acceptance, and payment issues.
  • Proposal and Project Management: Develop and maintain tracking lists for proposal, deliverable, project, and contract management, and ensure team compliance with project and contract requirements.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Assist in the preparation of monthly reports and other financial reports, and provide data analysis and insights to support business decisions.
  • Communication and Documentation: Prepare documentation for employee permits, security, certification, travel requests, and design, create, and produce technical documentation, including information sheets, reference guides, briefs, and presentations.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research, analyze data, and cite reference materials from print and online sources to support business decisions.
  • Template Development: Design professional document templates for internal and external use, and develop schedules, outlines, and templates for various types of proposal and project documentation.
  • Writing and Editing: Write, edit, and proofread contract materials in response to client requests and requirements, while meeting established schedules and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Education, English, or related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of business experience with proven experience in a technical field.
  • Skills: Excellent organizational skills, ability to work well under stress, accuracy and attention to detail, ability to work independently and resolve practical problems, effective leadership and communication skills, and strong computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets, databases, and interaction with customer portals and advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite.
  • Beneficial Skills: Microsoft SharePoint, Visio, and Project, Adobe software, including Acrobat Professional, Creative Suite, federal and DoD contract experience, and experience working with Government contract vehicles to include ID/IQs and Multiple Award Contracts (MAC).
Abilities
  • Physical Demands: Exposure to computer screens for an extended period of time, sitting for extended periods of time, reach by extending hands or arms in any direction, finger dexterity, listening and understanding information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences, communicating information and ideas in speaking so others will understand, reading and understanding information and ideas presented in writing, applying general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense, and identifying and understanding the speech of another person.
