A successful Sales & Front Desk Associate is sociable, self-motivated, an independent thinker, and a compassionate dog enthusiast. We are looking for someone eager to progress their career through our structured training pathway to become a Scenthound Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Promote membership sales through education on health and wellness
- Achieve key performance metrics, including average ticket price and rebooking ratios, through memberships, service add-ons, and retail sales
- Generate membership leads and follow up with prospective members
- Handle phone inquiries, schedule appointments, and manage customer profiles and records
- Oversee cash handling and maintain the cash drawer
- Manage customer expectations, address concerns, and retain memberships
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area in accordance with Scenthound's standards
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Scenter Manager
- Confidence in selling services and products
- Ability to connect with clients (both canine and human) and deliver exceptional customer service
- Capacity to learn about our offerings and educate dog owners, aligning with our values and culture
- Effective communication skills with team members and clients (in-person and via phone)
- Ability to independently resolve issues using Scenthound's values and culture as a framework
- Attention to detail
- Strong time-management skills; efficiently scheduling appointments
