At Maxwell IT, we are seeking an exceptional Technical Support Engineer to join our team of experts in cloud computing, cybersecurity, and unified communications. This is a unique opportunity to work with clients throughout the Pacific Northwest, helping them effectively plan for technology investments, manage ongoing operations, and overcome IT issues.

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will be responsible for acting as the first line of technical support for our customers. You will assist in planning, monitoring, and troubleshooting desktops, servers, and networks ranging from basic to complex. Your role will involve responding to customer tickets, documenting troubleshooting steps, and resolving issues at client sites.

We offer a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package, including flexible work arrangements, monthly bonus plan, medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off, and cell phone reimbursement.

This position requires three to five years of IT network administration and support experience, with a strong understanding of LANs, VLANs, VPNs, and firewalls. You should have experience with Windows server operating systems, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy, as well as a solid grasp of desktop operating systems, printers, and applications. A degree in computer science or equivalent is preferred.

You will be working with a variety of technologies, including MS Office 365 / MS Teams, Windows 10 / Server 2016 / 2019, MS Azure, ConnectWise, IT Glue, Sophos, Meraki, SIEM/PAM tools, and Barracuda. We encourage related experience with each of these solutions to apply.
