Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team at TEKsystems. As an IT Support Specialist, you will be responsible for resolving incidents and complex work orders for our IT users remotely through various intake methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve incidents and complex work orders for our IT users remotely through various intake methods.
- Assist Incident Management and the EOC with notification and resolution during system/application outages.
- Resolve work orders following documented steps and training.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Basic knowledge of circuit boards, processors, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software.
- Knowledge of computer software, such as configuration management software, desktop communications software, operating system software, and internet directory services software.
- Knowledge of commonly used IT concepts, practices, and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- IT customer service experience.
- Ticket tracking system experience.
