The Executive Transport Production Engineering Team is on the lookout for driven engineers to support the VC-25B Program Build Integration Team.

We are in search of individuals who value cross-functional collaboration, technical leadership, and analytical problem-solving, and who are passionate about making impactful contributions daily.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and refining aircraft zonal build plans to mitigate risks and establish sequenced execution strategies.
  • Leading the implementation of committed changes and design modifications, assessing impacts on build plans, and enhancing producibility.
  • Providing consultation and guidance, ensuring stakeholder engagement in build plan considerations.
  • Driving innovation and utilizing data analytics to foster continuous improvement.
  • Acting as an integrator to monitor the health of the production system, bridging design, build plans, and the final product.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Cultivating relationships with customers, stakeholders, and team members while overseeing technical approaches and processes.
  • Achieving milestones in Build Integration processes.
  • Advocating for processes within functional organizations and stakeholders.
  • Facilitating collaboration across various commodities.
  • Enhancing the Build Integration process through lessons learned and after-action reviews.
  • Participating in technical review meetings for design changes, providing impact assessments and recommendations.
  • Compiling inputs from commodity Manufacturing Engineers to support impact assessments.
  • Potentially supporting other platforms as required.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.

Security Clearance Requirement: This position necessitates the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.

Onsite Requirement: This role is expected to be performed 100% onsite.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
  • At least 5 years of experience in developing engineering technical data packages for aircraft components.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in professional writing and collaborating to resolve technical challenges.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Active Top-Secret security clearance.
  • Experience in build integration.
  • Over 9 years of relevant work experience or a combination of education and experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Integrated Vehicle Technologies (IVT).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with CATIA and GoldEsp.

Typical Education/Experience:

Experienced (Level 3): Typically requires advanced technical education and 5 or more years of related work experience.

Senior (Level 4): Typically requires advanced technical education and 9 or more years of related work experience.

Relocation: Relocation assistance may be available based on candidate eligibility.

Compensation: Pay is determined by experience, qualifications, and market conditions.

Shift Work: This position is for first shift.
