Role Location: This position requires full-time onsite engagement.

The role of an aircraft mechanic involves the assembly and manufacturing of critical components utilized in aviation systems. This includes working with various materials to ensure that all parts meet Boeing's stringent quality standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabrication and Assembly: Utilize specialized tools to manufacture and assemble components, ensuring adherence to precise specifications and blueprints.
  • Component Shaping: Employ techniques for shaping materials, including cutting and bending, to achieve required designs and dimensions.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections of components to identify defects and ensure compliance with quality benchmarks using precision measuring instruments.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of production processes, including measurements and materials utilized, to support quality control and traceability.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and fellow technicians to facilitate efficient production workflows and address any operational challenges.

In summary, the aircraft mechanic plays a vital role in the production of reliable aviation components, ensuring that all manufactured parts meet the high standards expected in the aerospace industry.

Security Clearance: Candidates must be eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in aircraft component manufacturing.
  • Experience operating manual machining equipment.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in manual fabrication of aircraft components.
  • Background in machine shop operations.
  • Familiarity with aircraft production environments.

Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
