The Senior Technical Architect plays a crucial role in guiding staff and Project Managers to ensure that the technical aspects of our designs adhere to the highest architectural standards. This position involves responding to inquiries related to code adherence, collaboration with various consultants, constructability assessments, and quality control. The role encompasses a diverse range of ongoing projects at different stages of development. Additionally, the Senior Technical Architect will mentor team members, helping them understand the rationale behind technical decisions and encouraging their exploration of relevant standards and concepts.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Architecture from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in architecture and/or construction
  • Extensive technical expertise in Design Development (DD), Construction Documents (CD), and Construction Administration (CA) phases
  • Experience with a broad spectrum of high-end custom residential, commercial retail, hospitality, and restaurant projects, along with development feasibility assessments
  • Knowledge of contractual relationships in development projects and professional liability considerations
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and visual communication skills, with the ability to quickly grasp unique situational challenges
  • Specific professional skills in Project Management, Custom Detailing (Interior and Exterior), Code Research, and Specification Writing
  • Professional Registration
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite
