Sales Representative

Stine Seed Company, a leading national seed company, is seeking an experienced Independent Sales Representative to cover Russell, Barton, and Stafford counties in Kansas.
About the Role:We are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as an Independent Sales Representative. As a key ambassador of the Stine brand, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers and dealers, while driving sales growth and expanding our market presence in the region.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of Stine seed products and services, as well as agronomic and technical knowledge of the assigned territory.
- Manage existing dealer accounts and recruit new dealerships to increase sales and expand our market presence.
- Communicate and implement Stine's sales programs and policies within the assigned territory to meet sales goals.
- Work closely with the Stine Regional Sales Agronomist to provide high-level sales support and technical expertise.
- Develop and enhance relationships with customers and potential customers, either personally or through a designated seller.
- Three or more years of ag experience, including previous experience in agronomy, crop production, or seed sales.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of proven sales techniques, as well as excellent negotiating skills and the ability to overcome obstacles.
- Demonstrated success in dealer development and retention.
- Initiative and ability to work with minimum supervision to meet established goals.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with growers by understanding their needs and values, and achieving desired results.
