Sales Representative

At Continental Disc Corporation, we are seeking a highly skilled Inside Sales Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, product selection, and technical support to our customers and manufacturer representatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a resource for customers and manufacturer's reps, providing timely and effective customer service, product selection, and technical support.
- Review and interpret specifications and requirements to prepare quotations.
- Follow up on open quotes in a timely manner.
- Provide contract review, including knowledge of terms and conditions, technical review, discounts, commissions, etc.
- Enter credit and returned material authorization (RMA).
- Prepare quotations, including sizing, competitive pricing, etc.
- Work with Regional Sales Manager to maintain up-to-date information regarding customer activities.
Requirements:
- Working knowledge of computers, including company CPQ and ERP system, Microsoft, Windows, and Office.
- Good math skills, knowledge of units of measure, problem-solving skills, and proven track record of requirement follow-up.
- Excellent reading skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and ability to read basic submittal drawings.
- Working knowledge of mechanical equipment and processes, excellent organizational skills.
- Sales experience with knowledge of pressure relief products, process equipment, compressors, pumps, or petrochemical controls maintenance or services is preferred.
Education / Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, or related field required.
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience in mechanical applications with a company or industry selling through manufacturers' representatives.
