Job Overview

The Pharmacy Technician plays a crucial role within the Pharmacy Department, assisting licensed professionals in the management and delivery of medication orders. Under the guidance of the Pharmacy Director, the Technician ensures compliance with established medical and pharmaceutical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for accurately entering physician orders, processing medication requests, and maintaining an organized inventory of pharmaceuticals and supplies.
  2. Exhibits proficiency in all required technical skills and patient care tasks as assigned, adhering to the Washington Health System Core Pharmacy Technician Skills & Responsibilities.
  3. Effectively communicates pertinent information to Pharmacy Department colleagues and other healthcare team members.

Work Schedule: Rotating shifts including days, weekends, and holidays. Typical hours include 11PM-7AM & 10PM-6PM.

Weekly Commitment: 16 hours
