About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Practice Manager to join our team at Better Health Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and strategic initiatives of multiple healthcare clinics within a designated region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a successful platform of people, processes, and technology to deliver on our culture and purpose.
  • Recognize opportunities and work collaboratively to design and implement solutions for clinic operations.
  • Act as project manager for clinic acquisitions, moves, and openings within the region.
  • Meet regularly with clinic leadership (Providers, Office Managers, and/or Team Leads) to provide up-to-date reporting of metrics and solve challenges.
  • Guide, coach, and drive the team to meet and exceed our goals.
  • Coordinate resources and departments to set goals and effectively work through Quality and STARS Program for each office.
  • Manage and oversee Whiteboard Program in conjunction with Office Managers or Team Leads.
  • Lead Care Coordination efforts in conjunction with Health Services to work proactive outreach call lists.
  • Recruit, develop, train, and motivate a best-in-class care team.
  • Engage in proactive outreach to passive candidates, utilizing referrals from existing team members.
  • Assist in scheduling interviews with clinic teams and serve as a communication conduit for all recruiting processes within assigned clinics.
  • Create training plans for individual team members based on skill set.
  • Conduct bi-weekly follow-ups for new team members.
  • Ensure completion and submission of Clinical Competency checklists for each new team member to Team Resources.
  • Counsel and coach Office Managers and Team Leads on leadership tactics.
  • Create and set the tone for a culture of 5-Star Service.
  • Directly manage Office Managers in the region and teams without Office Managers.
  • Provide operational oversight and support to providers (physicians and mid-levels).
  • Onboard new team members with orientation to Better Health Group culture and monitor/design training programs as necessary.
  • Collaborate effectively with other operational team leaders and physicians.
  • Provide extraordinary customer service to all team members and other departments through regularly scheduled meetings.
  • Serve as liaison and oversight for clinic improvements and problem-solving related to IT, Facilities, VIP Helpline, Network Operations, and other internal departments.
  • Know our business, our industry, and our care model to meaningfully contribute to shaping the future of healthcare.
  • Identify areas of strategic growth within the region for new office expansion.
  • Assist with Physician Recruitment to regional clinics.
  • Steer clinic growth in conjunction with the Marketing Team.
Requirements
  • At least 5 years of experience within a healthcare or clinical management setting.
  • Direct management of teams and communication with physicians.
  • Experience building and cultivating clinic teams.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient with Google Suite (Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for real-time collaboration.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, and pull.
  • Ability to operate a motor vehicle.
