About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team at Optum. As a key member of our Integrated Behavioral Health Division, you will work closely with Primary Care providers to provide comprehensive behavioral health services to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to patients with various behavioral health and psychological conditions.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with site-specific Integrated Clinicians and regional Prescribers.
  • Utilize cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing techniques to enhance patient engagement and improve treatment outcomes.
  • Work in a hybrid model, with a combination of on-site and remote work, to provide flexibility and convenience.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and evidence-based treatments.
Requirements
  • PhD, PsyD, LICSW, or LMHC degree.
  • Unlimited licensure in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a behavioral health setting.
  • Experience working in an integrated model and knowledge of health psychology preferred.
