Data Center Infrastructure Specialist

TEKsystems is a leading provider of technology services and solutions. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Data Center Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in supporting one of our largest healthcare customers. The successful candidate will have experience working in IT data centers, IDF's, and MDF's.
The role involves providing onsite support for the remediation of existing infrastructure, as well as ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of new systems. This includes installing and replacing rack-level power resiliency hardware, deploying new equipment, decommissioning obsolete gear, and low-voltage patch cable clean-up.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, data center operations, and cable management. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.
This is a unique opportunity to work with a large healthcare organization and contribute to the improvement of their IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will have the chance to work on a wide range of projects, from remediation to maintenance, and will be exposed to the latest technologies and best practices in the industry.
In terms of salary, we estimate that this role will pay between $70,000 and $110,000 per year, depending on experience. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
This position requires the ability to travel locally and work extended hours as needed. The successful candidate must also be willing to follow company policies and procedures related to safety and security.
