Rehabilitation Therapy Assistant - PTA (Flexibility, Culture, Benefits)

COMPENSATION: $28 - $30/Hour DOE

STATUS: Full-Time

SCHEDULE: Flexible Schedule M-F 8am - 5pm

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver physician-prescribed physical therapy under a care plan set by the Physical Therapist.
  • Assist in improving or minimizing patients' physical impairments.
  • Collaborate with healthcare personnel in patient care planning.
  • Execute all skilled procedures as directed by the physician and according to the care plan.
  • Consult with the Physical Therapist regarding treatment modifications.
  • Engage in educating patients and their families.
  • Participate in assigned in-service programs.
  • Attend scheduled patient care conferences.
  • Maintain accurate medical records, progress notes, and update care plans for each patient visit in a timely manner.

Desired Qualifications

  • Graduate from a two-year college program accredited by the American Physical Therapy Association.
  • Current licensure or certification in the state of practice.
  • Preferred minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and effective time management.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean record and reliable transportation.
  • Proof of current auto insurance and registration.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
  • Valid fingerprint clearance card (assistance available).
  • Current CPR certification (assistance available) and negative TB test (testing available).
