Minimum Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 1 year of experience in physical therapy (new graduates considered)
  • PT State Certification
  • Master's Degree

Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates with:

  • 2 years of experience in an outpatient physical therapy clinic
  • Experience with orthopedics

Essential Functions

As a Physical Therapist at HOPCo, you will:

  • Assess patient condition and establish goals, treatments, and care plans in conjunction with the physician and patient/family
  • Ensure appropriate treatment is performed in an interdisciplinary fashion, consulting with physicians about the impact of physical therapy factors on the patient's health status
  • Document findings, treatments, and other patient information for the medical record
  • Educate patient/family on appropriate care and use of various therapies/exercises
  • Serve as an information/education resource for patients, families, and staff
  • Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants and Physical Therapy Technicians
  • Serve as a resource to Physical Therapy staff
  • Provide ongoing education to the Physical Therapy staff
  • Assist the director with patient care issues
  • Maintain patient confidentiality
  • Demonstrate current competencies for the job position
