Job Title: Customer Service Associate / Operator

Position Overview:

The Customer Service Associate / Operator serves as a vital point of contact for patients and their families. This role requires individuals with strong communication abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service through effective scheduling and patient registration.
  • Conduct interviews with incoming patients and their representatives, accurately recording essential identifying information.
  • Provide clear directions to access various services.
  • Perform duties as a third shift computer operator, which includes monitoring Patient Accounting Close of Day, and downloading necessary bills, claims, and reports.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position with a .8 FTE on the night shift, which includes a weekend rotation.

Compensation:

Competitive pay is offered, along with shift differentials and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Proficient computer skills are necessary.
  • A minimum of one year of prior experience in the healthcare sector is required.
  • Experience in registration and admissions is preferred.
  • Familiarity with switchboard systems and procedures is advantageous.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills are essential.
  • A basic understanding of medical terminology is beneficial.
