Role Overview: As the Senior Vice President of Sales and Customer Engagement, you will be instrumental in directing our growth strategy. Initially overseeing a team of 2 Sales Representatives and 2 Customer Success Managers, your leadership will facilitate team expansion, ensuring smooth collaboration between these functions. Your primary focus will be on refining sales strategies, improving customer satisfaction, and driving revenue growth. Additionally, you will be responsible for achieving Sales and Customer Success ARR objectives while working closely with Marketing, Product, and other cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Sales Leadership:
  • Formulate and implement a strategic Product-Led sales plan to meet revenue objectives.
  • Mentor and support the sales team, providing guidance and resources.
  • Identify new market opportunities and spearhead expansion efforts.
Customer Engagement Management:
  • Oversee customer engagement initiatives, ensuring high retention rates and satisfaction levels.
  • Establish best practices for onboarding, adoption, and ongoing support.
  • Monitor customer health metrics and proactively resolve any issues.
  • Build strong relationships with key accounts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Collaborate closely with marketing to align and achieve company revenue targets.
  • Work with product management to relay customer feedback and influence product improvements.
  • Promote a customer-centric culture throughout the organization.
Metrics and Reporting:
  • Track KPIs related to sales performance, customer retention, and revenue growth.
  • Regularly update senior leadership on progress.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to refine strategies and approaches.

  • Extensive experience in leading sales and customer engagement functions within high-growth, early-stage SaaS environments. Proven success in scaling SMB and mid-market PLG SaaS companies, with a strong record of driving significant revenue growth and customer retention.
  • Exceptional ability to define and execute strategic initiatives that align with organizational goals. Demonstrated success in developing and implementing go-to-market strategies, optimizing customer lifecycle management, and driving product-led growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with a history of inspiring and guiding high-performing teams. Skilled at fostering a collaborative and results-oriented culture, mentoring senior leaders, and building cross-functional alignment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a track record of successful stakeholder and leadership engagement. Ability to effectively convey complex concepts and drive consensus among diverse audiences.
  • A Master's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is strongly preferred, showcasing advanced expertise and strategic insight.
