Job Title: Vice President, Customer Account Management

Austin Energy is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President to lead our Customer Account Management team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to improve customer satisfaction, revenue cycle efficiency, and overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute plans to enhance customer experience, improve revenue cycle operations, and increase business efficiency.
  • Lead a team of professionals in customer account management, billing, and collections.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to drive business results.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and internal teams.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customer account management, billing, or collections in a utility or related industry.
  • Proven track record of improving customer satisfaction, revenue cycle efficiency, and business performance.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and develop actionable insights.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience with utility revenue cycle operations, including billing, collections, and customer service.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
