Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our dynamic team at Makers Union, a modern pub that embodies the spirit of inclusivity. As a Bartender, you will have the opportunity to showcase your craft and create unique, delicious drinks that leave a lasting impression on our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and Serve Beverages: Craft a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and creativity.
  • Guest Interaction: Engage with guests, provide recommendations, and create a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Bar Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, adhering to safety standards.
  • Order Processing: Accurately process drink orders, handle cash transactions, and maintain proper records.
  • Collaboration: Work with the kitchen team to ensure timely delivery of food and beverage orders.
  • Menu Development: Stay updated on current beverage trends, techniques, and ingredients to enhance our menu offerings.

Requirements:

  • Experience: A minimum of 6 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day, lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Communication: Effective verbal and written communication skills in the primary language of the work location.
  • Certifications: Certified in responsible alcohol service (as required by state or local law).
  • Teamwork: High energy, stamina, and ability to work within a fast-paced environment.
