Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Banquet Server to join our team at Sheraton Reston. As a Banquet Server, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of events such as weddings, conferences, and corporate gatherings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Event Setup and Execution: Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for our guests.
  • Guest Service: Greet guests, assist with seating arrangements, and provide exceptional service to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Event Cleanup: Clear tables, ensure cleanliness and organization throughout the event, and maintain a safe and healthy environment for our guests.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not required.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, remain calm under pressure, and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and a focus on customer service are critical for delivering exceptional results.
  • Availability: Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift/carry trays weighing up to 25 pounds, and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
