A Café Service Expert is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests, ensuring they enjoy a delightful and tidy dining experience. Responsibilities include a variety of tasks from preparing and serving beverages to assisting with menu selections.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently
- Craft and serve a diverse range of beverages, from classic to gourmet
- Offer food items such as soups, sandwiches, and pastries
- Assist patrons with inquiries regarding the menu
- Provide recommendations based on customer preferences
- Handle customer transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of equipment and inventory
- Ensure a hygienic and organized workspace
- Enhance service quality and efficiency through continuous improvement
- Contribute to initiatives aimed at attracting customers and expanding the menu
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests depart
- Prepare tables for incoming diners
- Engage with guests in a friendly and timely manner
- Support waitstaff by delivering meal orders as needed
- Report any customer service challenges to management
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction throughout their visit
- Complete any additional tasks as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Strong listening and communication skills
- Commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction
- Adherence to safety standards, particularly when handling hot beverages
- Organizational skills and efficiency in task execution
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers
- Commitment to maintaining a clean work environment
- Proactive in monitoring and restocking supplies to minimize downtime
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a service role
- Background in hospitality is advantageous
- Basic math skills and cash handling experience
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
