Job Overview

AECOM is seeking a Community Engagement Account Manager to enhance the Club Ride initiative. This role is pivotal in broadening the reach of Club Ride services to three newly-identified demographics: Post-Secondary Educational Institutions, Transit Riders, and Vanpool Users.

Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in transportation and will be adept at conducting outreach and engagement activities for the Regional Transportation Commission's Club Ride program.

Club Ride collaborates with businesses, regional stakeholders, and the community to alleviate traffic congestion and reduce travel emissions in Southern Nevada. The program aims to provide education, services, and promotions that advocate for the use of public transit, active transportation, carpooling, and vanpooling, thereby enhancing the quality of life in the area.


Role Focus

The Community Engagement Account Manager will concentrate on delivering outreach and consulting services to targeted audiences, thereby expanding Club Ride's membership and participation, building upon its employer-based foundation.

This position will contribute to the development of messaging and programming that promotes greener travel options across various trip types, including those for educational institutions, transit users, vanpoolers, and local residents.

These initiatives will aim to elevate program awareness and enhance regional mobility, fostering increased participation among current users and encouraging the adoption of sustainable travel options.


Specific Duties Include:
  • Post-Secondary Education: Provide tailored technical assistance to public and private educational institutions, including colleges and universities, in Clark County.
  • Establish and nurture partnerships with these institutions to promote transportation alternatives and influence travel behavior among students, faculty, and staff.
  • Assist campuses in promoting carpooling, transit, biking, and pedestrian initiatives, including regional ridematching and special promotions.
  • Customize outreach services to address the unique needs of each partner and their diverse audiences.
  • Maintain records of partner activities and contacts within the Salesforce database.
  • Recruit new campus partners through networking and community engagement.
  • Organize on-site events to enroll students, faculty, and staff in Club Ride programs.
  • Collaborate with Club Ride and RTC resources, including transit and marketing teams.
  • Manage college transit pass programs, including marketing and outreach efforts.

  • Vanpool Audience: Assist in the development and launch of a vanpool pilot program, leading outreach efforts to promote vanpooling.
  • Engage directly with employers and community stakeholders to facilitate vanpool formation.
  • Work with third-party vendors on outreach strategies and data collection.

  • Transit Rider Audience: Develop a Transit Outreach Strategy in collaboration with the RTC Transit team.
  • Enhance the experience of existing riders and encourage Club Ride participation.
  • Coordinate with RTC for transit-focused events and initiatives.

Regular reporting of activities and partner progress will be conducted through Salesforce, including monthly and weekly updates. Attendance at local networking events and public meetings is expected, along with conducting presentations for stakeholders and employers.


Success in this role will be measured through participation in transportation-related incentive programs and achieving monthly performance metrics.
