We are seeking a skilled Community Engagement Coordinator to become an integral part of our dedicated team. This dynamic role will provide essential support in various aspects of property management, including team leadership, leasing operations, marketing strategies, compliance adherence, financial oversight, resident satisfaction, and maintenance coordination. Your efforts will contribute to achieving occupancy and revenue targets while upholding company policies and relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Rent Collection: Assist in the timely collection of rents, ensuring compliance with local regulations and managing the eviction process when necessary.
  • Resident Engagement: Develop innovative programs and promotions aimed at enhancing resident satisfaction and reducing turnover rates.
  • Resident Relations: As a primary point of contact, foster positive relationships with residents, prospective tenants, vendors, and colleagues through effective communication.
  • Occupancy Oversight: Collaborate with your team to ensure apartments are prepared for new residents by managing the make-ready process efficiently.
  • Leasing Support: Work alongside the leasing team to surpass occupancy goals, including overseeing lease renewals and documentation.
  • Cross-Property Support: Provide administrative and leasing assistance across multiple properties as needed.
  • Team Collaboration: Contribute to community objectives by assisting the Community Manager in budget preparation and maintaining a commitment to safety and improvement initiatives.
  • Bilingual skills are advantageous.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of two years in property management, with at least one year in a leadership role or equivalent experience.
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and conduct property tours effectively.
  • Analytical Skills: Proficient in managing timely and accurate reporting, with a proven track record in rent collection.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with basic computer applications and property management software, such as Yardi.
  • Ownership Mentality: A proactive individual who is committed to fostering a vibrant community while being a supportive team player.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Demonstrate empathy and tact in addressing resident and associate concerns, resolving issues promptly while prioritizing customer service.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to perform tasks that include walking stairs, posting notices, lifting/moving items, and touring properties.
  • Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are necessary.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
