Core Responsibilities:
- Direct systems analysis and engineering initiatives for the enterprise network, ensuring alignment with organizational IT strategies.
- Create and sustain detailed systems documentation, encompassing system configurations, process models, and data integration across functional areas.
- Offer technical expertise for the transition and incorporation of legacy systems into modernized network frameworks.
- Assess existing processes and procedures for network reengineering, documenting insights, and formulating options for process enhancements.
- Maintain and upgrade network systems in line with modernization efforts and lifecycle management directives.
- Provide technical integration assistance for stakeholders, coordinating with relevant personnel.
- Support the planning and execution of future system interfaces, including the development of architectural views.
- Engage in the formulation and upkeep of the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) and Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP).
- Ensure adherence to cybersecurity policies and practices, including risk management and incident response protocols.
- Facilitate the creation of acquisition schedules, milestones, Independent Government Estimates (IGEs), Performance Work Statements (PWS), Statements of Work (SOW), and Evaluation Criteria.
- Deliver technical and analytical support to project teams, ensuring compliance with quality standards and project deliverables.
- Develop and maintain an Integrated Master Schedule with a continuous focus on risk management.
Position Duties: Design and configure network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. Conduct systems analysis and integration. Maintain network hardware/software, ensuring user accessibility, and support network-related initiatives. Collaborate with management and security experts to uphold organizational standards and policies.
Position Requirements:
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10 years of relevant experience.
- Extensive background in systems engineering, including design, analysis, and integration.
- Leadership experience; familiarity with relevant frameworks.
- Possession of all necessary licenses for operating secure networks.
- Relevant certification based on job responsibilities and access levels.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proven expertise in systems analysis, design, integration, and implementation of complex IT systems.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity and architectural frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage high-profile engineering projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as PMP, CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
