We are seeking a dynamic Director of Product Management to spearhead our Policy Administration System (PAS) and enhance the internal customer journey. In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with diverse teams, including engineers, designers, data analysts, and product marketers, to conceptualize and launch innovative features that meet the needs of our stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the PAS, establishing clear objectives and key results (OKRs) to gauge product success.
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a diverse team of technical product managers, fostering an inclusive and equitable work environment.
  • Oversee the technical requirements and implementation of multiple projects, ensuring alignment with the broader product management strategy.
  • Enhance operational efficiency in a dynamic environment, promoting creative solutions and adaptability.
  • Conduct usability testing, user research, and competitive analysis to inform product development and prioritization.
  • Implement industry-leading product management practices to drive success.
  • Provide product insights to marketing and other departments as necessary.

Required Qualifications:

  • Over 10 years of experience in product management within the personal auto insurance sector, encompassing all stages from concept development to data-driven feature implementation.
  • A minimum of 5 years in the auto insurance industry, with a comprehensive understanding of both traditional and insurtech products.
  • Hands-on experience in developing requirements, managing workflows, and overseeing billing processes in personal auto insurance.
  • Experience in launching personal auto insurance products across various states, with knowledge of regulatory differences.
  • Proven track record in leading product development with remote teams, navigating cultural and time zone challenges.
  • Expertise in creating and presenting product roadmaps to stakeholders and senior management, securing buy-in and alignment.
  • Strong ability to identify market trends and articulate unique selling propositions.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to distill complex user needs and business concepts for technical teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the overall well-being of our employees, including flexible medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability options. Our wellness initiatives are tailored to meet the diverse needs of our workforce.

Salary Range: $178,000 - $250,000, commensurate with experience and location.
