Job Title: Senior Product Manager

Job Summary:

Qualcomm is seeking a Senior Product Manager to define and drive a comprehensive connectivity product strategy, execute on products, and drive HW/SW roadmap for new technologies and initiatives supporting all CCW businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Vision: Define and drive a comprehensive connectivity product and technology strategy maximizing market potential across BUs.
  • Platform Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams in program management and engineering to enhance and optimize system-level platform architectures.
  • Customer and Market Analytics: Collaborate closely with BU heads and study market data to acquire key customer and market needs and translate feedback into actionable insights, technologies, and product features.
  • Ecosystem Development: Foster both internal and external technology partnerships and ecosystem growth around CCW products.
  • Roadmap Creation: Shape the hardware and software roadmap for new technologies and work closely with engineering to turn ideas into products.
  • Decision-Making: Make impactful decisions that align with overall business direction, typically resulting in significant expenditure of time, resources, and funds.
  • Technical Communication: Create complex technical presentations to be used in product discussions with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Business Astuteness: Develop an understanding of how different product features and technologies create value to customer segments and turn them into new business models.
  • Market Success: Develop product features with clear KPIs and track them in the market.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Humanities, or related field.
  • Work Experience: 4+ years of Product Management or related work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ Years of Experience: Working in a large matrixed organization.
  • Proven Track Record: Delivering a strong ROI on large platform products.
  • Experience: Working with ecosystem partners in the wireless space, including ODM module makers.
  • Proven Track Record: Managing consumer electronic and/or PC OEMs for wireless technology products.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Ability to quickly establish credibility and positive influence across a diverse array of technical teams in multiple geographies.
  • Proven Ability: Working seamlessly with engineering, sales, and marketing teams to drive product and technology development, align on strategic goals, and ensure successful product launches and market adoption.
  • Experience: Managing the overall silicon manufacturing process, software ecosystem, and platform.
  • Team Leadership: Self-motivated, initiative-oriented, recognized as a successful leader who has demonstrated the ability to organize and motivate a cohesive team across multiple disciplines.
