Department Overview:
Job Summary:
This role involves conducting inventory evaluations to ensure sufficient supply levels and equipment availability. The position supports the Material Management team in fostering strong interdepartmental relationships to enhance customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

~ Understand the essential function of the department in supporting patient care.

~ Collaborate with various departments regarding supply inquiries and assist with incoming communications.

~ Maintain supply areas, ensuring a safe and organized environment.

~ Verify the accuracy of received and dispatched supplies.

~ Manage inventory processes, including stocking and dispensing supplies based on requests.

~ Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) techniques for stock rotation.

~ Ensure supplies are correctly labeled and stored in designated locations.

~ Initiate follow-up procedures to prevent stock shortages.

~ Participate in regular physical inventory assessments.

~ Assist with various special projects as needed.

Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Skills: Familiarity with computer systems and related equipment is advantageous.
Experience: Prior experience in materials management processes is preferred.
