We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Behavioral Support Specialist to join our team at New Story School. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with primary behavior technicians to provide high-quality support to children with autism spectrum disorder or related disorders.
Responsibilities- Instructional Support: Assist in organizing and maintaining instructional areas, preparing and keeping reinforcement and needed materials accessible.
- Delivering Instruction: Deliver instruction following procedures learned from initial and ongoing training sessions and based on feedback from supervisors.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Collect and analyze data accurately following policies and procedures put into place by New Story School.
- Program Development: Maintain programming material for all students, monitor designated child's IEP/Treatment plan objectives, and the progression of goals.
- Behavior Support: Conduct reinforcer assessments, deliver reinforcement following principles outlined by New Story School, implement behavior support plans, and identify when interventions are needed for specific children and programs.
