  • Conduct maintenance and repairs on building structures, systems, and equipment.
  • Service, repair, and maintain refrigeration and HVAC systems.
  • Install and maintain plumbing systems, including piping, fixtures, and fittings.
  • Perform electrical repairs and maintenance on various equipment.
  • Identify and report potential hazards to maintain a safe environment.
  • Keep accurate records of inspections, testing, and repairs to meet regulatory standards.
  • Respond to emergency repairs on critical equipment, ensuring functionality for patient care.
  • Perform routine checks to ensure facilities are in optimal condition.
  • Manage inventory of materials and supplies needed for maintenance tasks.
  • Operate heating plant boilers when licensed, adjusting systems as necessary.
  • Engage in preventative maintenance activities, including interior and exterior upkeep.
  • Handle waste disposal and other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, candidates must:
  • Be at least 18 years old with relevant education or experience.
  • Have 2 to 5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Preferred Skills:
Candidates with the following qualifications will be given preference:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Vocational or Technical Training in Engineering.
  • Experience in refrigeration, electrical systems, HVAC, and mechanical controls.

Licenses/Certifications:
Required certifications include:
  • Licensed Operating/Engineer at the time of hire.
  • Valid Driver's License upon hire.

Physical Requirements:
This position involves heavy work, including lifting weights up to 100 lbs. occasionally and up to 50 lbs. frequently.
