Front Desk/Guest Services Job Description

About Us: Geronimo Hospitality Group is a collection of unique and exciting places that push the boundaries of hospitality.

About the Role: As a Front Desk/Guest Services Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing a warm and welcoming experience that sets the tone for their stay.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process guest arrivals and departures, including all necessary payments
  • Handle and coordinate room assignments and pre-arrivals
  • Handle guests' concerns and provide solutions
  • Offer referrals for services and handle requests for information
  • Handle and store luggage
  • Assist with the check-in and check-out of groups and tours
  • Assist other departments as required

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills and professional attitude
  • Effective conflict management and decision making
  • Ability to use a variety of computer applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service

Work Environment: This position is in a hotel environment, and the noise level is usually moderate. You must be able to operate in mentally and physically stressful situations and keep up in a fast-paced environment.
