Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Embassy Suites Nashville Downtown. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude, creating a positive first impression.
  • Efficiently handle check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Process guest payments and maintain accurate records.
  • Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
  • Assist in administrative tasks, such as answering phone calls and handling reservations.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior cash handling experience necessary.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Very good computer skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Knowledge of hotel or resort operations is a plus.
