Job Summary:

This Radiology Imaging Specialist position performs prescribed radiographic imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. The ideal candidate will competently perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment and initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

Positions patients and performs imaging procedure(s)
Analyzes results and identifies issues with the quality of imaging results
Takes appropriate action to resolve image quality issues, including repositioning patients and repeating procedures
Enters, transmits, and reports scan results

Requirements:

Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent education and experience
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) Radiography certification required within 12 months of hire
CPR certification

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior radiology experience
