Job Description

America's Auto Auction – Richmond is seeking a skilled Transportation Coordinator to create orders and verify vehicle assignments for financial institutions in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create orders and confirm vehicle locations from various financial institutions.
  • Research and resolve variable delays in vehicle pickup assignments.
  • Verify delays after vehicles have been dispatched but not picked up.
  • Communicate with banks regarding vehicle locations and answer questions.
  • Cross-check multiple transportation resources to complete tasks.
  • Assist colleagues as needed to expedite tasks.
  • Participate in meetings to achieve service and cost improvements.
  • Lead efforts to provide operational costs to Finance/Sales for customer quotes.
  • Provide financial analysis of transportation subsidies and develop action plans to reduce costs.
  • Identify and recommend value-added services for customers.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years Auction experience or 2-4 years dealership experience preferred.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills required.
  • Effective phone communication skills connecting to financial and privacy information.
  • Ability to work in a high-performance, fast-paced team environment.
  • Solid computer skills, including Internet and MS Office.
  • Knowledge of Logistic Flow Systems.
  • Ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment.
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills required.
  • Creative Research Skills.
  • Proven Professional Email Skills with multiple high-level clients.
