Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Representative to join our team at the Houston Marriott West Loop by Galleria. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences and ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalized service to guests, responding to their needs and requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process guest arrivals and departures, handling check-in and check-out procedures with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Manage guest room assignments, ensuring that rooms are allocated according to guest preferences and hotel policies.
  • Handle guest complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner, escalating concerns to management as needed.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences, including room service, housekeeping, and food and beverage services.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions, making recommendations to guests as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple tasks and priorities with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Basic math skills and ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
