Courtyard Potomac Mills Food & Beverage Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

The Food & Beverage Manager is a key member of the Courtyard Potomac Mills team, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our F&B outlets. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate and direct staff to deliver exceptional customer service and drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate all aspects of F&B outlet operations, ensuring high-quality products and services.
  • Market and promote business ideas to drive revenue growth and reduce employee turnover.
  • Manage revenue and payroll budgets, meeting or exceeding targets while maintaining quality standards.
  • Respond to guest complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other F&B managers to share best practices and address issues.
  • Prepare and submit required reports, including wage progress, payroll, revenue, and employee schedules.
  • Monitor and maintain compliance with local liquor laws, health, and sanitation regulations.
  • Ensure staff are trained on SOPs and technical job tasks, and conduct performance reviews in accordance with Highgate Hotel standards.

Requirements:

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with all levels of employees and guests.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in hospitality or related field preferred.
