Position Summary
As a Hospitality Operations Manager at Bar Louie, your primary focus is on delivering exceptional service to our guests and supporting our Team Members.   • Complete all required training and safety processes.
  • Address operational needs, including emergencies and regulatory visits.
  • Ensure safe entry and exit from the premises.
  • Oversee all opening and closing procedures.
  • Follow all policies and processes as communicated by management.
  • Welcome guests upon arrival and departure to enhance their experience.
  • Manage guest flow in dining areas and provide accurate wait times.
  • Respond to incoming calls, manage reservations, and coordinate takeout and delivery services.
  • Maintain a clean dining environment and implement safe working practices.
  • Develop effective communication and reporting procedures to improve service and cleanliness.
  • Lead management meetings with key business leaders.
  • Oversee the hiring, management, scheduling, and training of supervisors and staff.
  • Motivate the team to meet daily productivity and quality objectives.
  • Act as the primary contact for operational issues and customer inquiries.
  • Recommend ongoing improvements to processes and workflows.
  • Monitor customer service inquiries and promotions across channels.
  • Ensure accurate availability and maintain consistent attendance.
  • Perform additional duties as required by business needs.

Essential Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Experience in hospitality or restaurant management with a strong interest in food service.

  • Proficiency in POS Systems, Inventory Systems, and Microsoft Office products.

Physical Requirements
Team Members must be able to perform the duties required in a gastrobar environment. This includes sitting for short periods, engaging in video conferencing and phone communication, and manipulating objects frequently. Additional physical demands include lifting up to 50 pounds, standing and walking for extended periods, and maintaining hygiene standards through frequent hand washing. Team Members must also be able to communicate effectively with Guests and other Team Members.
