Job Overview

Salary Range: $20-30 Hourly

Wiginton Fire Systems is on the lookout for skilled professionals to fill the position of Fire Alarm Technicians.

Role Summary:

  • Configure and activate newly installed fire alarm systems.
  • Design, assemble, and install low voltage apparatus for fire alarm systems, ensuring adherence to applicable codes and standards.
  • Execute comprehensive testing of all functionalities and equipment to guarantee peak performance.
  • Conduct inspections and troubleshoot any system discrepancies.
  • Interpret, understand, and adhere to product manuals, while also instructing clients on system maintenance and care.
  • Compile and present detailed reports on customer status and project completion.
  • Offer mentorship and oversight to assistants and/or installers.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Physical endurance and the ability to perform demanding tasks.
  • Excellent communication, training, and organizational abilities, along with a strong sense of pride and integrity.
  • Enjoyment of independent work and outdoor environments.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in servicing and inspecting fire alarm systems and panels is required.
  • Preferred qualifications include NICET Certifications in fire alarm systems, as well as FASA / BASA certifications.
