We are seeking a highly skilled Fire/Life Safety Systems Inspector to join our team at Siemens Industry, Inc. in the Greater Atlanta area. As a Fire/Life Safety Systems Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our clients' facilities by performing inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm and sprinkler systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm and sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with NFPA 72 and local codes.
- Identify and document deficiencies, and provide recommendations for repairs and maintenance.
- Provide training and guidance to customers on proper operation and routine inspections of fire safety systems.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure the highest level of service delivery.
Requirements:
- 1+ year of experience in fire safety systems inspection, testing, and maintenance.
- Ability to read and understand design and construction documents.
- NICET Level II Certification in Inspection and Testing Water-Based Systems or state certification within 12 months.
- Valid driver's license with limited violations.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or state-recognized GED; Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred.
- 3+ years' experience in fire safety systems inspection, testing, and maintenance.
