About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire/Life Safety Systems Inspector to join our team at Siemens Industry, Inc. in Greater Atlanta. As a Fire/Life Safety Systems Inspector, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and integrity of our fire alarm and sprinkler systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform inspections, testing, and maintenance on fire alarm and sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with national and local standards.
  • Identify and document deficiencies, and provide recommendations for repairs and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice on fire safety systems.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure our systems meet the highest standards.
  • Provide training and support to entry-level inspectors to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in the role.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of experience in fire safety systems inspection, testing, and maintenance.
  • Ability to read and understand design and construction documents.
  • Must be able to differentiate types and colors of wire.
  • Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver's license with limited violations.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or state-recognized GED; Associate degree in electronics or related field preferred.
  • Must obtain NICET Fire Alarm Certification Level II within 12 months.
  • 3+ years' experience performing inspections, testing, and maintenance of fire/life safety systems.
