Job Overview

HARIBO of America is thrilled to announce an opening for a Inventory Analyst position at our corporate headquarters. Reporting directly to the Manager of Reporting and Analytics, the Inventory Analyst will oversee the reconciliation of inventory across North America, assess inbound and outbound capacity utilization, manage network inventory balances, and conduct reviews of network sourcing.

In this pivotal role, you will leverage SAP to analyze daily reports from our third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses, identify any discrepancies in inventory, and lead projects aimed at addressing the root causes of system or process challenges. The Inventory Analyst will also collaborate with warehouse teams to pinpoint gaps and opportunities for process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily inventory reconciliations utilizing SAP and 3PL software.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels and service in warehouses, aligning with Supply Planning on reconciliations.
  • Initiate and oversee projects to resolve inventory-related issues at their source.
  • Address discrepancies in shipping and receiving processes from distribution centers and the SAP system.
  • Work closely with Finance to ensure accurate inventory discrepancy ledger postings that align ERP with WMS.
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain partners and associates to enhance efficiency, productivity, and processes.
  • Design and implement reporting tools to facilitate troubleshooting with 3PLs.
  • Build strong relationships with 3PL inventory teams to understand process flows, cycle count procedures, and internal movements.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in Supply Chain Operations/Management, Supply and Inventory Planning, or a comparable combination of training and experience.
  • This role is primarily based in our corporate office but may require occasional travel.

Preferred:
  • Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or Food industry is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with SAP/Oracle, particularly regarding inventory transactions, is a plus.

Skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal communication, and project management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Excel with the capability to utilize analytical skills for business insights.
