HARIBO of America is seeking to fill a vital role within our corporate structure. Reporting directly to the Manager of Reporting and Analytics, the Inventory Analyst will oversee inventory reconciliation across North America, focusing on both inbound and outbound capacity utilization, as well as network inventory balances and sourcing reviews.
This position requires proficiency in SAP and entails daily monitoring of reports from third-party logistics (3PL) warehouses to identify and rectify any inventory discrepancies. The Inventory Analyst will engage in projects aimed at addressing the root causes of system or process issues, collaborating closely with warehouse teams to pinpoint gaps and opportunities for improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inventory reconciliation utilizing SAP and 3PL software.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels and service in warehouses, coordinating with Supply Planning on reconciliations.
- Initiate and oversee projects to address inventory-related issues at their source.
- Resolve discrepancies associated with shipping and receiving processes from distribution centers and the SAP system.
- Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate postings of inventory discrepancies in the ledger, aligning ERP with WMS.
- Work alongside Supply Chain partners and HARIBO associates to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Design and implement reporting tools to aid in troubleshooting with 3PLs.
- Build relationships with 3PL inventory teams to gain insights into process flows, cycle count procedures, and internal movements.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in Supply Chain Operations/Management, Supply and Inventory Planning, or a comparable combination of training and experience.
- This role is primarily based in our corporate office but may require occasional travel.
Preferred:
- Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or Food industry.
- Familiarity with SAP/Oracle, particularly regarding inventory transactions.
Skills:
- Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and issues simultaneously.
- Strong analytical, interpersonal communication, and project management abilities.
- Capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Excel, with the ability to leverage analytical skills for business insights.
