About the RoleAs a Banking Practice Manager, you will be responsible for leading financial services engagements focused on business process improvement and technology implementation. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Lead project teams and serve as a subject matter specialist for financial services engagements
- Source new project opportunities and plan project execution and quality of final deliverables
- Develop and enhance West Monroe's methodologies and approaches to client delivery and provide thought leadership for internal practice development
- Coach and manage other consultants and participate actively in the performance expectation process
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required
- 5-10 years of consulting firm/industry experience in financial services, including commercial lending, treasury management, risk/regulatory compliance
- Strong communication skills to work with client representatives at all levels
- Candidates must be eligible to work permanently in the United States without sponsorship
- MBA or industry certification with a focus in banking/commercial lending
- Experience managing/leading financial services projects, including Mergers and Acquisitions, Core Conversions, and/or Ancillary System Implementations and Integrations
- Commercial credit qualification or commercial credit training
- Experience with industry-leading Core Loan Accounting Systems, including FIS, Fiserv, and/or Jack Henry
