Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

In this capacity, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide timely pre- and post-sales technical support to customers for an expanding product range.
  • Address customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat, ensuring all interactions are documented in IDT's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
  • Diagnose product usage and applications utilizing customer-supplied data and information, along with IDT's sales and manufacturing databases.
  • Assist in the complaint triage and investigation process, aiding in resolution by identifying the root cause, proposing optimal solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Manage the intake and execution of custom design requests.

Essential Qualifications

The fundamental requirements for this position include:

  • An advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D. preferred) in a relevant scientific field (biology, biochemistry, molecular biology) or a Bachelor's degree in life sciences (Biology, Molecular Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, etc.) or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of three years of experience with genomics applications in either an industry or academic research laboratory setting.
  • A proven ability to analyze data, pinpoint critical issues, and resolve problems through critical thinking.
  • Exceptional communication skills.

Preferred Experience

It would be advantageous if you also have:

  • Prior experience in a customer-facing position.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is $85,000 - $90,000. This range reflects our good faith belief regarding the possible compensation for this position at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary.

This position is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
