Collaborative Support Programs is seeking a skilled Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will provide direct support and skill development to individuals with psychiatric and/or substance use disabilities, enabling them to live independently and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide person-centered, collaborative support to residents, addressing their unique needs and goals.
- Assess resident needs and develop service plans in collaboration with the Regional Coordinator.
- Support residents in achieving their goals across eight dimensions of wellness, including housing, emotional health, physical health, social, employment, and educational goals.
- Participate in advocacy and community-based support initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in a mental health-related discipline or equivalent experience.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills to support multiple residents.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Office products and general computer literacy.
- Valid NJ Driver's License with an acceptable driving record.
- Lived Experience: We prioritize hiring individuals who have experienced mental health/substance use challenges, allowing them to inspire and support others.
We offer a competitive hourly wage of $20.42 - $22.78 per hour, based on education and experience. Additionally, we provide benefit-eligible status, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as 6 weeks of paid time off and 11 holidays.
