Job Opportunity in Mental Health Care

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psyiatric - Mental Health Physician to join our team at ICON Medical Network.

About the Role

This is a full-time opportunity for a Psychiatric Physician to work as part of a dynamic healthcare team. You will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in an inpatient setting, with a maximum census of 25 beds split between two providers.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient outcomes, and a passion for working in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive mental health care services to patients in an inpatient setting
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine the best course of treatment for each patient
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring timely and efficient documentation
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay up-to-date on the latest clinical practices and research
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree in medicine (MD) or equivalent qualification
  • Certification in psychiatry (BC) and relevant medical specialty board certification
  • Current licensure to practice medicine in the state where you will be working
  • Strong knowledge of psychiatric principles, theories, and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
