Job Summary

Medcor, a leading provider of safety services, is seeking a highly skilled Safety Specialist to join our team. As a Safety Specialist, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating safety hazards on construction and general industry sites.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular site audits to identify areas for improvement and recognize safe work practices.
  • Develop and implement safety programs, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, local, and site regulations.
  • Collaborate with field personnel, management, and outside agencies to develop and implement site-specific safety plans.
  • Review and participate in the development of accident briefs, safety-related publications, bulletins, and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with client/owner specific requirements and develop strategies to address any non-compliance issues.

Requirements

  • Current CPR/First Aid certification required.
  • OSHA 30 Hour Construction certification required.
  • CHST and OSHA 500 certifications preferred.
  • Relevant safety experience required.
