Job Summary

New Image Landscape Company is seeking an experienced Accounting Administrative Assistant to join our team. This is an entry-level position responsible for managing the flow and organization of the accounts payable and accounts receivable systems.

This is a fantastic opportunity for those looking to gain valuable experience in an office setting. Students, recent graduates, or those simply looking to get a jump-start on their professional accounting career are highly encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines. They will also be proficient in MS Office programs and have a basic understanding of accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

  • Analysis and data entry of a high volume of accounts payable invoices
  • Management, organization, and filing of purchase orders, invoices, and packing slips
  • Research and investigation of incomplete or unclear AP and AR paperwork as necessary
  • Reconciliation of account statements
  • Answering telephone calls and speaking with vendors as necessary

Required skills:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles

Desirable attributes:

  • Coursework in business, accounting, or a similar field
  • Possession of an Associate degree or higher in business or accounting
  • Experience in an office setting or another entry-level accounting role
