Unlock Your Potential as a Sales Engineering Manager

At Universal-Robots, we're seeking a seasoned Sales Engineering Manager to lead our Inside Sales Engineering team in the US-Canada region. As a key member of our sales leadership team, you'll be responsible for driving sales growth, developing strategic partnerships, and fostering a culture of excellence within the team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Develop the Inside Sales Engineering Team
    • Provide guidance, coaching, and mentorship to team members to ensure high performance and productivity.
    • Recruit, select, and train top talent to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Drive Sales Growth and Customer Engagement
    • Develop and execute strategic plans to increase sales revenue and customer acquisition.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with distribution partners, channel partners, and customers.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
  • Optimize Sales Processes and Operations
    • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
    • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and Manage Sales Teams
    • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve regional annual targets.
    • Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and coaching to improve performance.
  • Stay Ahead of the Competition
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of competitors and their products.
    • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities through market research and analysis.
  • Professional Competencies:
    • Relevant experience in a leadership role, preferably in sales or sales support.
    • Bachelor's degree or higher in a business or technical subject area (business, engineering, math, science).
    • 8 to 10 years of experience in sales or sales support roles.
    • Experience working with distribution partners in the industrial market.
    • Previous experience in industrial automation, solution/project businesses involving highly technical products.
    • Business acumen that can be applied at different levels of decision makers from senior management to technical support.
    • Ability to communicate effectively, both oral and written.
    • Strong analytical skillset with significant experience in MS Office, Business Intelligence (PowerBI preferred) and CRM (Salesforce preferred).
