Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Leader to join our team at Colliers Engineering & Design. As a key member of our Bridge and Highway group, you will be responsible for overseeing the direction and vision of our team, expanding our services to clients such as TxDOT and municipal government, and managing the work effort of assigned staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide direction and vision to the Bridge and Highway group, overseeing the work effort of assigned staff and ensuring the successful execution of projects.
  • Business Development: Collaborate with other GDLs within the region and with the Regional Discipline Leader to expand our services to new and existing clients.
  • Proposal Development and Contract Execution: Responsible for proposal development and contract execution, ensuring that our services meet the needs of our clients.
  • Financial Management: Manage the financial aspects of assigned teams, monitoring the performance of the business to meet or exceed revenue and/or profit goals.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Assist with quality control/quality assurance efforts on all assigned projects, ensuring that our services meet the highest standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in preparing proposals, developing budgets, and tracking budgets, with a strong background in financial management and leadership.
  • Certifications and Skills: Possess and demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain internal and external relationships, possess business acumen, and possess and demonstrate the ability to lead effectively and efficiently.
